INDOOR SKATEPARK FUNDRAISER!
If you didn’t know, Jason and I (Dan) along with a group of other volunteers including Brennan and Christian from Momentum Marketplace and Sheldon at Undergrind are working towards getting an indoor skate facility for the skaters of Saskatoon. The facility will be run by volunteers and completely free to skate!
We have found a place where we will be able to skate, and now all we need to do is raise money for start up costs such as wood for building, supplies, and the biggest one of all: liability insurance.
So a bunch of our suppliers have hooked us up with prizes to raffle off to raise money. We will be selling tickets until Jan. 1st, and the draw will take place the first week of 2012. $5 will get you 1 ticket, and $10 will get you 3. The more tickets you buy, the more prizes you can win. That’s right you can win more than one prize if your name is drawn more than once. Most importantly 100% of the money from the tickets goes towards start up costs for the skate facility. So basically a donation to support Saskatoon skateboarding gets you an entry form into a contest for great prizes! Check out the list of prizes you can win!
That’s over $1000 in prizes available for you to win for a small donation. Undergrind and Momentum Marketplace have their own raffles going too with an entire different set of prizes, so buying tickets at all the shops increases your chances of winning more stuff!
PLEASE SUPPORT SASKATOON SKATEBOARDING! AN INDOOR PLACE TO SKATE IS LONG OVERDUE!
